Travel information

Naples has a small international airport well connected with the major airports of Europe and Italy. High-speed and standard train connections with the city of Rome are available all day. The tourist port of Naples provides connections with the major ports of the Mediterranean Sea and beyond.

By car
Please search internet services such as Google maps for the destination “via Partenope” in Naples. Please note that via Partenope is the continuation of via Caracciolo, one of the best-known avenues on the sea front of Naples.

By train
From the Central Railway Station (Napoli Centrale) the Meeting Center can be reached by taxi (price ≈ 16,00 €), by public bus n°151.
Please note that all the trains from Rome stop at Central Railway Station (Napoli Centrale), connected to the rest of the city by the Metro Line 1 and 2.
The Piazza Amedeo station (Line 2) is the closest to the Conference Center. From there the Conference Center can be reached by taxi or public bus n°128.

By plane
The International Airport of Capodichino is 15km away from Athenaeum Conference Center. From the airport two options are available to reach the Conference Center:
• Taxi. The trip takes around 20 min (barring traffic jams) and should cost 25,00€;
• Special Alibus service. The bus runs from 7:00 to 21:15. The frequency of the bus is approximately once every 22 min. Tickets may be purchased on board (5,00€). Get off at terminal Stazione Marittima and reach the Conference Center by walking (distance ≈1,8 km) or by public bus n. 151.
